I have had many successes in my life. However, one of the most satisfying and gratifying is my weight-loss success. It has been satisfying because not only did I lose the weight; I was able to keep it off. I have weight-loss success because I decided to have it. It is a gratifying success because it is something I can see every day and is something I live with everyday.

You can have weight-loss success if you decide to do it also, and then follow it up with the actions to make it happen. Weight-loss success comes on the other side of work.

Therefore, make the decision, do the work, and enjoy weight-loss success.

Weight Loss Pressure

It’s always easier to put off losing weight than to hit it head on. Putting it off relieves the pressure of doing it now. Putting off losing weight takes the pressure off. However, putting it off will never allow you to lose weight. Make getting healthier a top priority. Turn up the urgency to get it done. Don’t put it off any longer and let’s get it done. Remember, positive pressure is a good thing. It gets it done.

Change and Lose Weight

If we keep doing what we are currently doing, we will keep getting the results we currently have. Most people want to be thinner. However, most people won’t do it at the expense of changing what they are doing. This is the foundation of obesity.

If you want to be thinner then changes are required. Change scares people. However, what should scare people is a future being overweight or obese. What should scare people are the consequences of being overweight? Getting knee and hips replaced should be scarier than going for a walk after dinner. A heart attack should be scarier than eating a little less at dinner. Changes are a good thing. Look at the positives, make the changes, and have a healthier future.

How to Eat Less & Lose More

One of the easiest ways to start losing weight is to start eating a little less. If that doesn’t work, then reduce your food intake a little bit more. Add to that a little bit of exercise and the weight will come off.

One important thing that you can do to lose weight is to eat meal 3 – 5 times a day. Make 75% of the items on your plate lower calorie and healthy.

Additionally, make sure to add lean protein to your meals. The addition of
proteins can help keep you feeling full.

Therefore, if you want to lose weight, eat a little less and exercise a little more.

Daily, people tell me about their bad choices. They tell me, then defend them with what they think are reasons. However, they are just excuses. Instead of defending bad choices, why not make better choices that don’t need defending? Why defend things that are keeping you overweight?

It is time for a change. It is time to make the decision to start making better choices that don’t need defending. It time to be on the offensive and start losing weight. Now is the time. Let’s get started.

Remember, pain comes from staying the same and living an unhealthy life. Only change leads to a better life.

You Get the Weight You Expect

Weight loss expectations aren’t weight loss guarantees. What do expectations do? Weight loss expectations give us the opportunity to work towards a goal. Expectations give us both enthusiasm and confidence to do the hard work. Additionally, expectations change our attitude, and give us the ability to push through the tough times. Having weight loss expectations also gives us the energy to win.

When our society tells people who are overweight to be yourself, stay overweight, don’t try, it’s not your fault, they are stealing from peoples future and saying that people are incapable of becoming thinner. This is wrong and creates negativity.

Positive thinking doesn’t guarantee results, however, it is better than negative thinking and yields better results.

Additionally, make sure your expectations are realistic. Expectations that aren’t possible are just dreams.

Expectations aren’t hope. Expectations are what can happen given the right mindset and effort. Remember this equation:

Success=expectation + desire+ effort

Losing weight is about having the right mindset to do it. This means keeping motivated to do it. Losing weight means being extremely dedicated.

How can you psych yourself up and stay psyched up? Keep your reason for losing weight in front of you always. Additionally, keep your goal in front of yourself at all times. Write it on your mirrors with dry-erase board markers. Put it on your refrigerator. Attach it to your computer screen. Put it on your junk food cabinet.

Additionally, talk to yourself daily. Tell yourself that you can do it. Tell yourself that it is going to happen. Tell yourself that you will do whatever it takes to make it happen. This can be a powerful way to make weight loss happen.

Remember, psyching yourself up and staying psyched up is an important part of losing weight.
