Losing weight is about motivation. It is about having a strong desire to lose it. However, before this happens, you must imagine. You must imagine what it would be like to be thinner. You must imagine what it will be like to look thinner. You must imagine what it would be like to be able to tie your shoes easier, get out of a chair easier, be able to sit on the floor and get up easier. You must imagine looking and feeling better. You must imagine.

When you can imagine it, you can accomplish it. When you can imagine it, you will be willing to do what it takes to get there. When you can imagine it, that image will help drive you.

Persistent at Losing Weight

If we want to lose weight, we need to be consistent and persistent at doing it. In other words, we need to be a bulldog at losing weight.

This also means that we need to stay focused and never let go of our objective to become thinner and healthier. Bulldogging weight loss means that we will go at it from one angle. If it does not work, we will go at it from another angle. We will keep going at it until we succeed.

When we are in the weight loss process, we must be tough. We must do what we need to do to get it done. It is an attitude of being relentless.

Therefore, if we can be a bulldog at weight loss, we can lose the weight we desire. Let’s get started.

If we want to lose weight, we need to start.
It is easy to say, “I will wait until…” It is easy to make excuses why you can’t lose weight. It is easy to let everything take precedence over becoming healthier. It is easy to talk about losing weight and not do a thing. It is easy to run around asking everyone what they did to lose weight.

However, if we want to lose weight, we need to give up our excuses, stop talking about losing weight, give it high priority, and we need to start.

Those who lose weight make it happen by doing things that others refuse to do. Those who make weight loss happen, rarely if ever eat a big bag of chips, they eat a small handful. Those who make weight loss happen, don’t eat a large bowl of ice cream. They eat a scoop. Those that make weight loss happen, look for every opportunity to exercise, those that don’t, look for every opportunity to avoid it. Those who make weight loss happen, become more active, those that don’t, won’t.

When you get down to it, those who make weight loss happen, do things that others refuse to do. Making weight loss happen is a choice. Doing what it takes is a choice. Make the right choice and let’s get started today.

Weight Loss Attitude

One of the things that needs to change when you want to lose weight is your attitude. What does this mean you may be asking? Many times when talking to people they tell me that they don’t like to exercise, they can’t give up their favorite foods, they tell me that they are too tired, they tell me that they work too much to lose weight, blah, blah, blah… These excuses are the result of a poor attitude towards weight loss. Additionally, it is a defeating attitude that has to change if they want to lose weight.

Weight-loss success is about the results. It is about a positive attitude towards the process not a negative one. It’s thinking about what it will be like when you are thinner, not about what you have to do to get there. Weight-Loss success is not about what you can and can’t eat. It is about what you choose to focus on. This will determine your success or failure at losing weight.

A positive attitude towards the weight loss process will yield positive actions that will result in success. A negative attitude will result in either negative actions, little action, or no action at all. This will result in weight-loss failure.

Therefore, let’s focus on the right stuff. Let’s have a positive weight loss attitude, and let’s get it done.

The signs are here. Summer is on the way. Is your body ready? If not, you have time to get it ready, if you start now. Don’t wait until June. Weight loss does not happen over night. Weight loss takes time, just as gaining weight happens over a period of time.

This is not a time to procrastinate. It is just not a time to talk about it. It is a time to decide. It is a time to commit. It is a time for action. It’s time to go at it until you get the results you desire.

Every summer, you let go by without being at your desired weight is a summer you will regret. Remember, there is an average of 76 summers we have on this earth. What are you waiting for? Weight Loss Common Sense

Many overweight people look at weight loss as something mysterious. They think that there is one secret that will make them thinner overnight. They think that people who have lost weight know something that they don’t, and they are going to get it out of them.

However, weight loss is common sense. You take in fewer calories than you burn. How you do it is up to you. The only secret is how you feel, about both what and how you are doing it.

If you are enjoying the weight loss journey, you will lose weight and keep it off for a lifetime. If you hate the process, you will fail. That is the secret. You will not do something you hate doing long term. It is human nature. However, if you find a way to enjoy the process, you will succeed.

Therefore, enjoy the weight loss journey, and enjoy your weight loss success. It is just weight loss common sense.

If we want to lose weight, we need to first have our head in the right place. This also means knowing if we have or don’t have our head in the right place. A while back, a guy I talked to asked me how I lost so much weight and has kept it off. I told him to lose weight, first a person needs to have their head in the right place. He told me that he had his head in the right place to lose weight for a long time. I thought to myself that if his head was in the right place, he would be visibly losing weight. I realized that he was in denial. About an hour later I saw this guy eating fattening high calorie food from the local fast-food restaurant. I approached him and commented, “I see by the food you are eating that you have your head in the right place.” I then walked away so that he wouldn’t get defensive. Later, he admitted that his head was not in the right place, and we could start the conversion. If you want to lose weight, get your head in the game and get started.

Weight Loss Excuses – I Want to Enjoy Food

Weight Loss Excuses

I was sitting in an office today when I overheard a woman say, “I love food. I only live once I am not giving up good food for anything. If I die, I am going to die fat and happy.” I have heard this many times before. My father even said this. However, there is a big flaw with this thinking. Most overweight people don’t die happy. They die in pain. As you get older there is a good chance you will be a diabetic if you are overweight. Taking shots everyday would not make me happy. As overweight people get older they usually have high blood pressure. Taking pills for that would not make me happy. Having mobility issues, would not make me happy. Paying medication prescription bills and doctor co-pays would not make me happy.

Overweight people tend to be become disabled sooner as they get older. That would not make me happy. It seems that some people are just looking at one side of it. If they just spent the same amount of time visioning their future, they just may change their priorities. Eating can be enjoyable. However, you don’t need to abuse food to enjoy food and life. See the future you are heading for, get rid of that lame excuse, and change your future for the better.
