Don’t Deprive Yourself to Lose Weight

Someone asked me yesterday what the key to losing weight was. My simple answer to that question was this. If at the end of the day you feel that you deprived yourself of anything. You lost the weight loss battle.
If you work hard to control your weight, you may enjoy your appearance, but don’t get depressed when you pass on foods you like. That is because there is a fine balance to maintain between immediate gratification of the food and the long-term gratification of maintaining your desired weight. When you can get the right balance you can live with, you can lose weight and keep it off for good.
