3. Select Your Liquid Calories Wisely to Slim Down
Sweetened drinks can really add on the calories, and they don’t help cut hunger like solid foods do. It is easy and wise to satisfy your thirst with water, sparkling water with citrus in it, skim or low-fat milk. Grab a glass of nutritious and low-calorie vegetable juice to help fill you up between meals. However, be mindful of the calories in alcoholic drinks, which add up quickly. If you drink daily and want to lose weight, it may be a good idea to start limiting your alcohol intake to the weekends. This can be a huge calorie saver and really help you to slim down.
