Eat Less and Eat Smarter to Lose Weight

Burn more calories than you take in, and you will lose weight. This is a fact. Eat lighter and balanced meals, exercise more, and the weight will come off.

Now with that said, it doesn’t mean you can’t eat and still lose the weight you desire. You just need to be smarter about how much you eat and what you eat.

Eating less is important and will work, but you must also eat smarter. Eat foods that are low on the glycemic index because they will help keep your energy level even and help you to burn fat all day.

What is exactly is the glycemic index you may be asking and what foods fall into the low end of the index? Simply, the glycemic index is a ranking of how foods affect your body’s blood glucose (sugar) levels.

Therefore, if you desire to lose weight and keep it off, eat more foods with a lower glycemic index.
