Be Realistic With Your Goals

It is possible to reach your big weight loss goal. However, it is important to start off with a smaller goal first. This is why. If your initial goal is too large, it will take longer to reach, eroding your confidence and motivation. My initial goal was to lose 30 pounds. After I did this, I had the confidence and motivation to set another goal. Finally, at the end I lost 50 pounds total.

The initial key is to set a goal that you know you can reach. Then reach that goal and set another, building on your previous success. These are the stepping stones to weight loss.
