What If I Eat Less and Still Can’t Lose Weight?

During the weight loss process, things happen, and we need to figure out why we can’t lose weight. What can we do if we are eating less and still not losing weight?

    There are a few things we can do:

  • Start exercising to increase our metabolism and burn more calories.
  • Increase the intensity and duration of our exercising to increase our metabolism and burn more calories.
  • Reduce our current portion sizes a little more. It may be that we are still eating too much.
  • Eat lower-calorie foods. It will fill us up, so we will eat less high-calorie foods.

If we can do at least one of the things listed above, we can lose the weight we desire.

I Can’t Lose Weight

That’s a common excuse among those who say that they want to lose weight but are unwilling to do what it takes.

What they are saying is that they don’t want to do what it takes to lose weight.  they just want it to happen.

That is what makes what they are saying partly true. They aren’t losing weight. However, it is not because they can’t it is because they won’t.

Anyone can lose weight if they choose to, they just have to choose to, and be willing to do what it takes to make it happen.

The only one that can keep you from losing weight is you. Get rid of the excuses and get rid of your weight.

I Have to Cook Family Meals – Can’t Lose Weight

Can’t Lose Weight?

This is a great excuse for not losing weight. When you use this excuse what you are saying is that your family should not eat healthy. Additionally, there is no law that says that healthy foods can’t taste good.

In my book, I teach people that they don’t have to give up their favorite foods. However, if you eat your favorite unhealthy foods, just watch your portion sizes. That is the key when eating fattening foods for weight loss.

Additionally, there is a difference between cooking for your family and how much you eat. They don’t go together.

There is another aspect to cooking family meals, and that is picking. Picking can be a good thing if done correctly. I do a lot of the cooking on the weekends because I enjoy it. I find that if I pick while I cook, I tend to spoil my appetite. This allows me to eat less at dinner. If you use picking to kill your hunger so the end result is eating less food, then it can be a good thing. Just don’t pick and then pile your plate with food.

The moral of the story is that you can cook and still lose weight if you follow the few simple things above.

When Will You Start Exercising Regularly?

I am often told by people that they can’t lose weight because they don’t exercise. I am also told by people that they can’t lose weight because they don’t like to exercise. These are just excuses. Liking or disliking something is an attitude. Attitudes can be changed if the person has the desire to change.

If you don’t like to exercise, it is because you have not tried to find one that you like. It just takes a little effort and a bit of time. Conversely, it is very easy not to like exercise and use it as an excuse not to do it, and not to lose weight.

It is true that you need to enjoy the entire weight-loss process if you want to lose weight and keep it off. You just need to find a way to make it enjoyable so that weight loss is easy and painless, and not hard and painful.

You can do it! I know you can!
