How To Stop OverEating – Weight Loss Tip

It is not bad that people eat. What is bad, is when they overeat. Years ago I was one of those people. Every meal I would stuff myself like a pig. What I did not realize was that when I stuffed myself as much as I did, I was actually hurting my body. What I did not realize was that my body had to process all that food and do something with it. It turned some into energy, dumped some out, and turned the rest to fat. It became a problem and promoted my unhealthy weight gain. Also, most of the fat went to my abdominal area.

How do you stop your over-eating problem? Here are a few things that helped me.

  • Eat a healthy snack about a half-hour before dinner. This will curb your hunger and help you to eat less.
  • Eat slowly at dinner. This will help you to feel fuller without eating a lot of food.
  • Stop when you just start to feel full. Once are stuffed, it is too late.
  • Exercise more. This will remind you that you need to work off what you put in. It will help you to pay more attention to what and how much you eat.
  • If you can do these few things, you can stop overeating and lose the weight you desire.

    Prepare For Social Events To Stay On Your Weight Loss Plan

    If you are going to a social event, be sure not to leave the house too hungry so that you won’t binge. If you eat a healthy snack such as fruit and vegetables before the event, you will be more likely to keep those temptations under control, and you will be less likely to overeat.

    In addition, pay it forward. Get some exercise in before the event, watch what you eat even more carefully a day before the event. This will help you to lose extra calories, and help you to keep your head in the game.

    Go From Fat Butt to No Butt in No Time

    This article is dedicated to all my Bally running friends.

    In Michigan the winters can pose a challenge to people who like to run to stay fit. Luckily, I have a Bally Total Fitness near my house that has a nice track in which to fill that void during the winter. Certain times of the day the regulars come in, to either walk or run the track. Sometimes I run with a group other times I prefer to run alone and enjoy time to myself. While running with the group a couple of weeks ago, one of the guys started talking about my book “Don’t Diet! Just Think And Get Thin” and how I should have named it “Go From Fat Butt to No Butt in No Time” (For the sake of my readers I changed the name slightly). Everyone laughed and it has become the joke of the group. However, it does make sense. When you can develop a thin person mindset you will lose the weight you desire and will go from a fat butt to no butt in no time. You will choose a healthy snack over an unhealthy one. You will not go up for seconds. You won’t stuff yourself at dinner. You will go for a walk after dinner.

    Weight loss is the side effect of developing a thin person mindset. It is the result of having your head in the right place. Therefore, if you want to go from a fat butt to no butt in no time, then you need to think like a thin person and make thin choices.

    Techniques to Lose Weight

    Learning how to lose weight is part of the challenge, journey and education that you need to go through to succeed at losing weight. However, the common denominator with people who lose weight is always proper eating and exercise. This is probably not new to most of you.

    What most people don’t realize is that there are two parts to losing weight. The first part is to change your thinking. The second part is figuring out where to begin?

    • First, you should set a realistic weight loss goal. Attain that goal and then set another one.
    Exercise regularly
    • Add extra calorie burning activities in addition to your exercise program.
    • Add a few healthier foods to your meals.
    • Don’t give up your favorite foods just cut back on the portions.
    • Have plenty of healthy snack options available.

    If you can start doing a few of these things to start, you will see the weight start to come off.
