Vision and Lose the Weight

One of the keys to losing weight is belief. If you want to lose weight, you first must believe that you can do it. One of the ways to get belief is to catch a vision of a thinner you. A vision of a thinner you and the belief that you can do it will help drive you to weight-loss success. Having the belief that you can become thinner is powerful. Having an image of where you want to be, is mandatory. They will help to guide your daily decisions allowing you to reach your weight-loss potential. When you have an image of where you want to be, your brain will subconsciously help you turn it into reality. It will help you to develop the right motivation. It will help give you a positive attitude towards weight loss because it will take you to your image.

When you finally reach the image, you created for yourself, it will bring you inner joy that you accomplished what you set out to do.

Finally, before weight loss can happen, we need to catch the vision, get the belief, take action and lose the weight.

Denial Will Cause You To Stay Fat (Weight Loss Denial)

Losing weight is about developing a thin mindset. Many times people have told me that they have the right mindset, yet they are still overweight. Let me say that if you are overweight and are not losing weight weekly, you don’t have the right mindset and are in denial. This denial will cause you to stay fat. Another thing that people tell is that they would lose weight if…excuse excuse excuse. This weight loss denial comes in the form of thinking that they have no control over their weight and that other external factors control it. If you feel that you are not in control of your weight, then you don’t have to do anything about it. Denial can keep you from losing weight.

Denial can show itself in the form of anger, humor, or changing the subject, when confronted. Someone not wanting to admit that they have a weight issue lashes out, jokes about it, or just changes the subject when confronted with it. A lot of times in this case, by not admitting to themselves and others that they have a weight issue, once again, they don’t have to do anything about it.

This self-destruction can be hard to watch. However, you can’t make anyone lose weight unless they want to. I have found that people need to come to terms with their weight issue for themselves, like I did.

What can you do? If you are overweight and reading this, you are taking the first steps to taking the weight off. If you have a friend or love one that is overweight, and you want to help, start by setting the example for them. Walk the healthy weight loss walk. Show them the benefits of being thinner and fitter. Invite them to walk with you. Invite them for a bike ride. Show them that exercise can be fun and rewarding. Show them the things that you can do because you are thin and fit. Lead by example and watch them follow.

Denial about having weight issues, and having the ability to resolve it, can come in many forms. I select a few common ones that I have witnessed. There are many more. However, until a person gets over their denial, the weight loss process won’t start. Lose the denial and lose the weight. Let’s get started!

7. Trim Your Portions to Trim Your Waistline
If you trim your portions by 15%-25%, you can lose the weight, you desire. The thing to remember is that we eat way more food than we need. If you don’t know how to do this, just get a measuring cup to see how much you are actually eating, then work on reducing your amount of food. One thing I like to do is to use smaller plates. This will help you not to feel like you are starving yourself, because it will look like a lot of food on smaller plates.

Make Minor Changes To Get Thinner

Making small changes is very important for creating long term healthy habits and behaviors in your life. If you are having trouble losing weight fast it may be because you may become mentally burned out very quickly because of the difficulty adhering to a rigid program. By making some small changes every week, you will be more likely to keep the minor modifications to your eating and exercise programs and continue to build on a solid foundation over time. Small changes may include eating a hand full of chips instead of the bag, not going up for seconds at dinner, etc… These small changes can reduce hundreds of calories from your daily intake and can allow you to lose the weight you desire. A small exercise change may be to go outside for a walk every other day. This is a great way to begin burning excess calories, toning your legs and increasing your energy levels.

Weight Loss Regrets : You Can’t Go Back And Undo

Regrets are a powerful thing. We all have them. The one thing that it tells us is that we can’t go back and undo or redo the past. If health problems start to plague us, we can’t go back and change things. We can’t go back and start exercising. We can’t go back and start eating better. We can only go forward. We can only start exercising. We can only start to eat healthier. We can only lose the weight we should have loss. We can only try to repair our body. The body that we broke and refused to fix until it was broken.

I have an easier solution. The solution is to start losing weight as soon as possible. The solution is to start now. Start exercising, start watching how much you eat, start watching what you eat. Just start.
