Mouse Trap to Lower Your Weight

Losing weight is like a mouse trap. You plan where you are going to put it. You plan what food you are going to put on it. If you plan it, and do it right, you get the results you want. It is the same way with losing weight. You plan what and where you are going to exercise. You plan what you are going to eat. If you do it right you will get the results you want. You lose weight. If you do it wrong, you change the plan and try it again. You keep changing things up until you get the results you want.

Therefore, if you want to lose weight create a plan and change it until you get it right.

Change Your Routine and Lower Your Weight

Lower Your Weight

If you want to lower your weight, you will need to change your routine. These changes don’t have to be drastic changes. However, they do need to be made.

One thing that you can do is to take the stairs instead of the elevator. You can park away from the door instead of looking for the closest spot near the door. Go for a walk after dinner instead of sitting on the sofa. Pack a light healthy lunch instead of going out for lunch. Eat a lighter healthier breakfast instead of a large breakfast. My wife lost a couple of pounds just by stop putting sugar on her Cheerios.

These are small simple changes, but they do make a difference. What small changes can you make? What small changes can you make that will have the greatest impact on your ability to lower your weight?

Remember, these changes don’t have to be scary. However, you do need to start, and you need to be consistent with doing them. Therefore, let’s get started.

Is Your But is Keeping You From Losing Weight?

Everyday I hear the words, “I would like to lose weight BUT…” In other words, are your excuses keeping you from losing weight?

Over the years, I have heard more excuses of why people can’t lower their weight than I have heard reasons to lose weight. Every overweight person seems to have an arsenal of excuses to tell people. What does that tell me? It tells me that they really don’t want to lose weight. However, they don’t want to tell anyone that. I believe that they feel that losing weight will be extremely painful and like most people, they don’t want to do what is painful.

What they don’t realize is that they are making losing weight painful with their attitude. Losing weight is as painful or painless as you make it. It is all about your attitude towards it. If you feel that losing weight is tough, and that you have to make major sacrifices to do it, you will not succeed in the long term. If you look forward to the results that losing weight will give you, you will succeed. Your attitude WILL determine your results. Let me put it in simple terms, “bad attitude, bad results. Good attitude, good results.” Change your attitude and your results will change. That should say it all.

Do You Think You Deserve a Healthy Future?

Do you deserve a healthy future? There is an old saying that holds true with respect to your health, and it goes like this, “You don’t always get what you want, but you usually get what you deserve.” If you are overweight, if you don’t exercise, you are abusing your body. Now, with that said, you may want good health, but do you truly deserve it? This may sound a little harsh, but often times we need to hear the truth, so that we can move forward in a positive way. Also, the good news is that we can earn a better future if we make a decision and follow through on lowering our weight.

Here are a few things that you can do to merit a healthier tomorrow:

* Lower the quantity of food you eat
* Eat more fruit and vegetables
* Make exercise a number one priority
* Drink less alcoholic drinks
* Take a healthy lunch to work
* Reduce or eliminate surgery sodas
* Lower your junk food intake
* Lower your weight
* Avoid skipping meals
* Avoid going up for seconds

So, if you keep your weight down then there is a better chance that you will have and justify a less painful future then someone that does not.

Are you overweight? If so, let’s make the decision to drop the weight, let’s start the process, and do not quit until the weight is off. Your future can be healthier, if you make your weight loss a priority and follow it with the right actions.
