Balance Your Meals To Lose Weight

Wednesday, December 7th, 2011

If you want to optimize your weight loss, it is important to get as any nutrients as you can. The problem with going on a no-carb or low-fat diet is that you may not get the weight-loss results you desire.

If you go on a protein only diet and eat little or no carbs, you may find that your energy level has dropped.

Fat plays a role in hormone production, so a low-fat diet may affect your hormone production.

Going on a high carb diet can cause a crash in your energy level along with the fact that any carbs that are not burned will be stored as fat.

Therefore, eating well balanced meals can have a big impact on the weight you lose and how you feel.

Drink More Water to Lose Weight – A Great Weight Loss Drink

Wednesday, June 8th, 2011

Water helps our bodies regulate temperature, eliminate toxic products, make you feel full and help carry nutrients and oxygen to our cells. Conversely, not to drink water is a common mistake people make when in the weight loss process. Water is necessary for the burning of calories. If you become dehydrated your metabolism does not function optimally, and that usually translates into slower weight loss. Research has shown that adults who drink 8 or more glasses of water per day burn more calories than those who drink less. Therefore, if you want to lose more weight, drink more water. If it is feasible, you should drink cold water at a temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit. This causes your body to work harder to heat up the water resulting in extra calories being burned and faster weight loss.

Don’t Overeat To Lose Weight

Monday, June 6th, 2011

When you are full, or just satisfied, you should stop eating. There should be no reason to eat until your stomach feels like it’s going to explode. That will make and keep you overweight. Furthermore, you can use the 20 minute rule to lose weight. The 20 minute rule is that it takes about 20 minutes for the nutrients in your food to enter your bloodstream, and get to your brain to regulate your appetite. A good weight loss tip is to eat slower. This is helpful in giving your body a chance to recognize that you have had enough to eat. Therefore, if you want to lose weight, remember the 20 minute rule.
