A great tip for those of us with busy schedules is to plan ahead. This can be applied to both your exercising and the food you eat.

If you don’t schedule and prepare ahead, it is very easy to acquire the bad habit of eating fast food. These choices can affect your hope of losing weight. Therefore, it is important to create a meal plan ahead of time.

It is also important to put exercise into your schedule so that other things don’t get in the way. Once you start doing these things it is also important to stay with it.

Some people think that they can just lose weight and then go back to what they were doing before they lost the weight, and then magically the weight will stay off. This is far from the truth. Yes, you can ease up a bit. However, the weight loss fight is just beginning. It is important to remember, that your weight-loss journey is a long term one, and you need to plan for that. Quick diets may work for the short term. However, they are not long-term solutions. We need to look for solutions that we are willing to do long term. This will ensure success long term. Remember,

Long-Term Solutions = Long-Term Weight Loss Success

Weight Loss Plan

If we wanted to go on vacation, we would probably plan for it. We would plan for it. We would plan for what we are going to take. We would plan for where we are going to visit. We may even investigate places to go and eat.

If we want to lose weight, we also need to plan. We need to plan what we are going to eat for breakfast. We also need to plan for how we are going to handle lunch. We need to plan for eating healthier snacks. We need to think about portion sizes. We need to plan out our daily exercise.

We also need to adjust our plan as we see what works and what doesn’t.

Having a weight-loss plan is important if you want weight-loss success. It can be the difference maker.

Therefore, let’s create a weight-loss plan, and let’s get it done.

Weight-Loss Plan

Having a desire to lose weight is great. However, we need to develop the right motivation, and then we need to create a plan to make it happen. A weight-loss plan does not always have to be written down. However, you need to have a weight-loss plan that is carefully thought out and flexible. A flexible weight-loss plan, means it will change as you learn what works and what doesn’t. A carefully thought out weight-loss plan means that you understand what triggers make you eat, and you have thought about and know how you will deal with them. Having a weight-loss plan means monitoring your weight daily and making adjustments to your food consumption and exercising as you get the feedback of how the scale says you did. Having a plan means having a definite goal. Knowing how much weight you want to lose, when you want to lose it by, and what you are going to do to get there is powerful. Tracking your progress along the way is also a very important part of the weight loss process. What are you going to do to get started? Add it to your plan and let’s get moving.

Best Weight Loss Plan | Best Weight Loss Program

There are many ways, and many weight-loss plans to choose from. There is one common denominator. If you want to lose weight you need to take in fewer calories, then you burn. That is the bottom line. However, why you do it and do you like it, are even more important than the plan itself.

If you don’t like doing what is in the plan, then you won’t do it long term. If you are not enjoying the process, you won’t do it long-term, and you will not have long-term weight-loss success.
If the plan you choose does not address your motivation, odds are that you will fail.

My book “Don’t Diet! Just Think And Get Thin” has had success not because I tell people what to eat and what not to eat, but how to think about weight loss. I show people how to develop their motivation for long-term success at losing weight. I go over what I did to lose the weight. However, I don’t tell people that they have to do it. What worked for me may not work for you. I do, however, show people where their motivation needs to be and how to get it there. Additionally, I guide people through a proven process to get them there.

What is the best weight-loss plan? The best weight-loss plan is one that is personal for you. However, first you must get your weight loss motivation in line with your weight-loss goals.

Tools To Help You Lose Weight

In order to lose the weight that you desire, you need to have a few things in place. You need to have a few tools that will help make it happen.

My book, “Don’t Diet! Just Think And Get Thin” will help you to develop the motivation you need to lose weight and keep it off. A digital scale will help you to track your daily choices. Everyday you should track your weight. You should then track where you are with respect to your short term and long term weight-loss goals. Keep track of it on a calendar that you keep next to the scale.

Create a realistic weight loss goal that you would like to reach and break that goal up into smaller attainable goals.

Create a weight loss plan to reach the above goal, and stick to the plan if it is working, adjust the plan if it is not working.

Get the right equipment for the exercise you select. Try different exercises to find ones that you enjoy doing.

Losing weight starts in your head. If you can get your head in the right place to lose the weight, the rest will fall into place.

You Need the Voice of Truth to Shed the Weight

If you want to lose weight and keep it off you need to tell yourself the truth. A woman I know asked me how I was able to lose 50 pounds in four months and keep it off for over six years. I told her that first you have to have the right mindset. If you don’t have the right mindset, you won’t be able to lose weight. She responded by telling me that she had the right mindset, but that she didn’t like to exercise. What she doesn’t realize is that she has a bad attitude towards exercising, and that mindset needs to change if she wants to lose weight and keep it off.

The truth is that if you are not thin or not on the road to getting thinner, you need to get rid of the excuses that you disguise as reasons and tell yourself the truth. Then you need to get the right motivation to lose weight, put a weight-loss plan together to make it happen, and then start. You can do it, so let’s get it done.

Have Hope to Lose Weight and Get Fit

If you are overweight or obese, there is hope. You can start now. By losing some weight and getting some exercise, you can reduce the risks of health issues. You can help your heart, lower your blood pressure, regulate your sugar levels, sleep better, and reduce your cholesterol.

This can reduce or eliminate having to take pills, reduce doctor visits and hospital stays. By losing some weight you can reduce the risk of cancer. Additionally, by getting in shape you can reduce the risk of heart disease.

Are you willing make small changes to lose weight and get healthier? If the answer is yes, then let’s get started. There things to do. It is time to set a weight-loss goal, create a weight-loss plan, and start taking action.

Create A Weight-Loss Plan

When I first decided to lose weight, I did what I had always done. I thought that since I wanted to lose weight, it was enough to make it happen. To my surprise, I was wrong. What I needed to do was to set a weight-loss goal then create a weight-loss plan to reach that goal. That plan is the following (not necessarily to be done in this order):

  • Create an exercise routine
  • Create a plan on how you are going to make the time for the above exercise routine
  • Create a list of foods to choose from for breakfast
  • Create a list of foods that you will choose from for lunch
  • How you are going to control your portions for dinner (the meal people most people have an issue with)
  • What activities are you going to do after dinner
  • How are you going to determined success
  • Make sure that you are happy with whatever you put in the above plan. If you are not happy with the plan, you create, you will fail.

    Track Your Weight – Weight Loss Tracking

    Part of losing weight is making sure that you are on the right track when it comes to your weight-loss goals. Keeping tack of your weight loss progress is a must if you want to reach your weight-loss goals. By tracking your weight-loss goals you can adjust your weight-loss plan when your weight is not going in the right direction.

    Some of the things you can keep track of are, foods you eat, your exercise routines (length and intensity), and your daily weight. Review your results against your weight-loss goals to see how you are doing. If you are doing well, keep doing what you are doing. If you are off track, make the proper adjustments to your weight-loss plan.

    If you do this, you can lose weight and keep it off.
