Weight Loss Results

When someone first starts the weight loss process, their initial thought is “show me the weight loss!” Results are what they want, and they want them fast. This was my thinking. I thought I would lose weight because I wanted to not because of what I did. I wanted to do the minimum and get the maximum results. I was taught quickly that it doesn’t work that way.

If we want results, we need to earn it. We need to work at it. Weight loss results are given to the people that earn it. Cheating is not an option.

Let’s decide that we WILL lose weight. Let’s get determined to do it. Let’s do what it takes to earn it, and let’s get it done.

Belief From Weight Loss Results

If you want to lose weight, you must first believe that you can do it. How can you get the belief you may be asking?

One of the best ways to get the belief that you can lose weight is to get some results. When you have some results, you will get the confidence that you can do it.
When you have some results, you will have a positive attitude towards the weight loss process. When you have some results, it will fire you up. When you have some results, it will drive you to succeed. When you get some results, your motivation will increase, knowing that you can do it. Even small results can go a long way to helping you reach your weight-loss goal.

If you want to lose weight, and you aren’t sure that you can do it, make a commitment to work at it until you get some results. Results will feed your belief, which will feed more action, which will give you more results. These results will feed more belief, action, and more results. This is the circle of belief, which will eventually give you the weight-loss success you desire.

Weight-Loss Results

If we want to lose weight, we need to have a goal. We need to know what weight we want to get to, and we need to know when we want to get there by. We also have to focus upon the results not on the process. This is very important. I talk with many people that spend way too much time focusing on what they have to give up, rather than focusing on where they want to be or their weight-loss results. Concentrating on the negative will give us negative results. Concentrating on the negative will do nothing but torture ourselves causing us to fail. If we concentrate on what it going to be like when we are thinner, we will do what it takes to get there. This will help drive us to weight-loss success. Let’s get started and don’t forget to focus on your weight-loss results.

Change Your Weight Loss Results

People tell me all the time that they “can’t” lose weight. It is not a matter of “can’t” as it is “not willing” to lose weight. In other words, they are “not willing” to do what it takes to lose weight.

Weight loss is personal. No matter what anyone says you are the only one that can do it for yourself. It is all about you. You need to be the one that exercises regularly. You need to be the one that brings a healthy lunch to work. You need to be the one that only eats one reasonable helping of food. You need to be the one that eats healthy snacks. You need to be the one that says, “I’ve had enough.” You need to be the one that says, “No.” You need to be the one that keeps yourself on track. You need to be the one that monitors your weight daily. You are the one that needs to decide to start, no one else. It’s all about you. You “can” lose weight if you are “willing” to. Get the point. Let’s get started.

Weight Loss Results Are Worth The Investment

People always tell me that losing weight is hard. They tell me that they can’t do it. However, if people truly realized what losing weight could do for them, they would be willing to do it. I lost 50 pounds in four months over six years ago, and I can truly say that my weight loss results were worth the investment. I am just a few weeks away from my 50th birthday, and I am in great shape (for an old guy). This is what losing weight has done for me…

  • I have been told countless times recently that I look like I am 35 years old, not 50. I attribute it to being thinner and in shape.
  • My blood pressure has not been this low since I was 25.
  • I have better mobility than I had when I was overweight.
  • I have a higher energy level than I had when I was overweight.
  • When I was overweight, I had back issues that I don’t have today, and therefore, I am pain free.
  • and there is much more…

    As you can see, losing weight has its advantages and has definitely been worth the investment for me. If you have knee problems, back problems, or just want to look younger, losing weight would be worth the investment for you. Think about it.

    Painless Weight-Loss Advice

    As I always like to say, losing weight is as easy or as hard as you make it. So here is some painless weight-loss advice from a man who has lost 50 pounds in four months and has kept it off for over six years.

  • Have fun with it
  • A bad attitude will give you bad results. Enjoy the weight-loss process and you will be rewarded with the weight-loss results you desire.

  • Don’t quit
  • Be persistent and consistent and never quit.

  • Learn your body
  • Weight loss is an education. Learn what foods and what quantities cause you to lose weight and what foods and what quantities cause you to gain it.

  • Don’t miss any meals
  • Missing meals is a great way to slow down your metabolism and actually gain weight.

  • Increase your activity
  • Make it a goal to become more active. The more active you are during the day, the more weight you can lose. This includes starting an exercise program.
    (Consult your doctor before starting any exercise program.)

  • Replace foods
  • Make it a goal to replace unhealthy foods with healthy foods..

    I wrote above that losing weight is as hard or easy as you make it. Following the above weight-loss advice is a matter of choice. Making the right choices will give you the right weight-loss results.

    Quit Doing These Things If You Want to Lose Weight

    Do you think that you can’t lose weight? Does it feel like all of your weight loss efforts cause you to weight gain? If you want to lose weight, find out which common weight loss mistakes might be preventing you from getting the weight loss results that you desire, then quit doing them.

    Quit Dieting

    Don’t diet, because diets just don’t work. If you want to lose weight and keep it off you need to change your mindset. I did a previous post that talks about this – Change to lose weight. I even wrote a book about it (see below).

    Quit using excuses.

    One of the most common excuses I hear is that “I don’t have enough time.” If you want to lose weight, you have to find time for exercising and other physical activities.

    Quit underestimating the amount of food you eat.

    Do you pay attention to all the food you eat during the day? 30 -calorie bites during the day can really add up. Pay attention to snacks and what you eat while you are cooking.

    Quit thinking that all healthy foods will help you lose weight.

    Healthy food does not mean low calorie food. There are health benefits to eating healthy foods. However, if you eat too much, it may cause you to gain weight.

    Quit sitting around

    You need to move it to lose it. Sitting around won’t cause you to lose weight. Get active and stay active.

    Quit thinking that your activity is more than it really is.

    Working out should not include standing around and talking to people at the gym. I hear it all the time. People say, “I was at the gym for two hours yesterday.” The problem is that they spent an hour and a half standing around talking to people. That’s not exercising.

    Quit thinking that you can eat more because you exercise.

    Just because you are exercising, that does not mean that you can eat more.

    Quit thinking you deserve big results fast with little effort.

    Don’t get frustrated, focus on any accomplishments as you lose weight. Look for things to be proud of in every step of the weight loss process.

    Eat Sweets and Still Lose Weight

    Losing weight does not mean that you can’t have a piece of cake. It does not mean that you can’t have ice cream. As you go down the path of losing weight, there are times that you really want to eat something. I will just say this. EAT IT!!! Don’t drive yourself crazy. Don’t beat yourself up. Just eat it. I do have an addition to this. Eat it in a small portion and eat it slowly. Eat it and savor every bit of it.

    If you try to avoid it, you will just want it more. The expression that “we want what we can’t have” is true. So just eat it. While I was in the weight loss process, I hate chocolate ice cream a few times a week.

    However, I only had one scoop, and therefore, I never felt that I deprived myself, and it really did not affect my weight loss results.

    Treat yourself to that snack. However, remember that moderation (portion control) is a key to losing weight.

    The decision to lose weight is usually not made lightly. Making weight loss happen is another challenge. However, the investment of losing weight is worth the results. What are the things that you will need to invest? You will need to invest, time, focus, attitude, and possibly a little bit of money. However, it is worth it. It is worth it for a healthier future. It is worth it for more energy. It is worth it to look a little younger. It is worth it for the compliments. It is worth it to feel better. It is worth it to be able to do what you have not been able to do for years.

    Since I lost 50 pounds, I looked younger, feel better, and look better. It is the best decision I have ever made. My weight-loss results are worth the investment and it will pay dividends.     Focus On Your Weight Loss Results

    To lose weight and keep it off you need to have intense focus. You need to have intense focus on results. Why you may be asking? The answer is simple. If you focus on results, you won’t focus on the process. If you don’t focus on the process, you won’t get hung up on the little things that you need to do to lose weight. This is because you have a goal that you are going after intensely, and nothing can stop you. You will not try to find time to exercise. You will make time to exercise. You will cut your portion sizes. Not just talk about it. You will bring a light healthy lunch to work, not go out for lunch and super size at the fast-food restaurant. That is because you focused on the results. You have a goal you are after. You don’t complain about the process. You look forward to a thinner and healthier future.
